The Alps treks

14 curated routes, 56–590 km, each with a 3D map, day-by-day stages and month-by-month climate data.

No other range packs so much classic multi-day trekking into so little ground. The Alps invented the hut-to-hut format, and the loops and traverses here — the Tour du Mont Blanc circling Western Europe’s highest massif, the Walker’s Haute Route stringing together the 4,000 m Valais giants, the GR5 running the whole spine from Lake Geneva to Nice — are still the routes every other range is measured against.

What ties them together is the refuge system: staffed mountain huts a day apart, so you can walk high for a week or two carrying little more than a sleeping-bag liner.
