PR 6.7 — Vereda da Câmara Carga

PR 6.7 — Vereda da Câmara Carga — the trail guide

The PR 6.7 — Vereda da Câmara Carga is a 3.4 km trek in Portugal, typically walked in 1–2 hours, with 7 m of total ascent. It rates Moderate on our published rubric (2 m of gain per km, topping out at 1289 m).

PR 6.7 is the shortcut Rabaçal regulars use instead of the tarmac: 1.7 km of stone steps and cliff-cut path dropping about 290 m from the ER105 car park on the Paul da Serra plateau into the laurisilva of the Rabaçal valley, where it joins PR 6.6 (Vereda do Túnel do Cavalo) near the water tunnels of the Calheta hydro scheme. Walked down and back it is a short, sharp leg-burner; most people fold it into a bigger Rabaçal day alongside the 25 Fontes and Risco levadas.
