PR-TF 59 is the short, steep link between the hamlets of Las Portelas and Masca inside Tenerife's Teno Rural Park. From Las Portelas the yellow-and-white waymarks climb terraced slopes to a saddle near 900 m, then drop through palm-dotted barranco country into Masca, the cliff-ringed village at the head of the famous gorge. It is only 3.4 km, but the ground is rough, shade and water are absent, and both ends are reached by TITSA buses routed through Buenavista or Santiago del Teide.
